About
30 years of tax experience, working for you and your family
I am a sole practitioner that comes from a background of working for large CPA firms. I have been involved in all kinds of businesses and have been presented all kinds of problems to solve for those business owners. I love helping to solve problems and strategizing to help clients save money. I have been preparing taxes for over three decades and I very much enjoy what I do.
I prepare business and personal taxes as needed with a focus on clients that need to get caught up on back taxes and need my help getting their back tax issues resolved. I advocate for them, and I meet with the tax agents on their behalf with them alongside me so they hear what’s going on every step of the way. I relieve them of their tax burdens and stress, allowing them to concentrate better on the everyday important functions in life.
I work virtually and I have a brick and mortar office as well.
“Don’t get caught off guard, trust your taxes to Bob Kirnard.”
I was born and raised in New York. I spent my career working in Manhattan serving clients in the metropolitan area and surrounding states. I am well versed in multiple state tax returns. I have been preparing personal and business taxes for over 3 decades.
I am a graduate of Baruch College in Manhattan where I earned my accounting degree. I went on to attain my CPA certificate shortly thereafter.
In 2007 I moved from New York to North Carolina. The economy went “off the cliff” the following year. I decided people really needed my help with their tax woes, so I opened my own CPA firm, Robert Charles Kirnard, CPA. I am a member of the AICPA and the NCACPA. I hold a New York CPA certificate as well as a North Carolina CPA certificate. Most recently I added my back tax and resolution division called “Fresh Start Tax Resolutions” to help all folks with back tax issues.
My hobbies are antique cars and ballroom dancing. On a good day you can see me driving one of my antique cars. Past hobbies are coin collecting, stamp collecting, and antique slot car collecting. I love tinkering with, figuring out, and fixing mechanical things of all kinds. This has helped develop my problem solving skills throughout my life. I also find it relaxing and the sense of accomplishment makes me happy.
I would appreciate the opportunity to help your family get out of a tax jam, and be your trusted advisor.

Friend,
‘Closers’ have run their numbers, and they know that certain IRS problems can net them big fees. Sure, they’ll quote you a smaller fee during the so-called “financial analysis” in the beginning stages of the process – but they also know that there are lots of different ways that they can tack on additional fees during the process so that no matter what, they will get paid.
My team and I would like to invite you into a different kind of process.
Mind you – we are BULLDOGS when it comes to negotiating on behalf of our clients in front of the IRS. We have plenty of stories to prove it.
But what I’d FIRST like to do is to invite you to read my free report, that I’ve specially prepared for Greensboro area individuals and businesses (which just so happens to be just as pertinent for someone who doesn’t happen to live in the area). I’m confident that after reading this report, that you will ignore ALL the calls from the national sales sharks who are circling the waters and coming after you.
We want to fight for you – and you will never have to speak with the IRS yourself.
Click the button on below to request your free report, and we’ll rush your copy to you immediately. Feel free to poke around our site and discover why I’ve been called “The Most Trusted Tax Professional in Greensboro.”
PS — If you are discussing your tax situation over the telephone with other firms, be sure to ask them one important question:
“Are you a licensed tax professional that is legally eligible to offer me tax advice, or are you a salesman?”
This is by far the single most important question you should ask anybody trying to offer you tax advice. If they are a salesperson, I highly encourage you to run quickly in the opposite direction.
PS–Already ready to come in?
I don’t blame you…many folks are fed up with the other options out there. Our schedule is very full…but if you call us at (347) 210-2799 or Email Us, we’ll give you two options for coming in right away! We will NOT make dealing with a tax professional as painful as it’s been in the past!
Talk again soon,
Robert Kirnard, CPA
